Jerry Cotton is a surefire read year after year
The best “talking points” of special agents Jerry and Phil, who throw juicy jokes and wild lips, since 1968 are now in the same covers. This meritorious cultural recording has been collected by Doctor of Theology Hannu Purhonen, who has always known how to relax in the personal company of agent reader Jerry Cotton. No one got cold while reading this text, and time does not make the tips of the Gmies' tongues worse.

Cotton's Finnish success story began in 1961. Since then, the fistfight of FBI New York City Police Officer Jerry Cotton, or the "blacksmith's special", has been swinging in countless legendary adventures accompanied by a wild sense of humor. FBI federal police officers were originally unarmed and therefore required razor-sharp intelligence, top-notch physical fitness, a solid sense of justice and the relentless fighting spirit of a bloodhound. During the American Prohibition era, FBI agents were armed and at that time they began to be called G-men.

It is a coincidence that FBI secret agent Jerry Cotton landed in Finland from Germany in the late 1950s. At the time, Oulu-based CEO Esko Kastemaa went to Germany to sell Finnish lichen and happened to buy a German-language Jerry Cotton from a newsstand to read while traveling. Esko Kastemaa knew German well, as he had been in Kiesting during the war as a Finnish liaison officer for the German headquarters. Esko was enthusiastic about what he read and started the first translated Cotton texts in 1961. Antti Aalto, a distinguished Kaleva wrestler, soon joined in, in whose hands the American G-man became a personable, humane and sparingly violent hero who appealed to the Finnish sense of humor.
